As if Samajwadi turned Rightwinger Jaya Prada has been playing the victim card since BJP chose her to fight Samajawadi stalwart Azam Khan from Rampur.

In a recent controversy, Jaya Prada has accused Azam Khan of commenting on her in a bad taste in a public meeting.

I brought her [Jaya Prada] to Rampur. You are a witness that I did not allow anyone to touch her body. It took you 17 years to identify her real face but I got to know in 17 days that she wears khaki underwear,” Media reported as Azam Khan saying.

Opposition Parties including Shiela Diskhit condemned Azam’s statement saying he should apologize to women.

“This is highly condemnable, he owes an apology to women immediately. Its unacceptable, action should be taken against him,” Diskhit said whose party could not succeed in forming an alliance with the SP and the BSP in Uttar Pradesh.

BJP National President also hit out at Azam Khan whose party leaders have been abusing their opponents on a daily basis.

“Not only Azam Khan, but both Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party should apologize to the crores of women in our country,” Shah told in a rally.

However, Azam Khan condemned it saying if he is proved guilty he will not contest this election.

“I have said that people took time to know real face in reference to a man once said that he brought 150 rifles with him and if he sees Azam, he would have shot him dead. My leaders also did a mistake. Now, it has been revealed that he has an RSS pant on his body. Shorts are worn by men,” Khan told ANI.

“I am a nine-time MLA from Rampur and have been a minister. I know what to say. If anyone proves that I have named anyone and insulted anyone by name. If it is proved, I will step back from the elections,” Azam Khan said.

“Amar Singh and Jaya Prada were expelled from Samajwadi Party las year since their activities were harming the party,” a Samajwadi source told The Morning Chronicle in Lucknow.

“Now they both are playing the victim card before public. Everyone knows what harm the duo did to the party,” he added.

Jaya Prada and her so called godfather Amar Singh have been attacking Samajwadi Party leader since they were expelled from the party.

Amar Singh had once appealed to the voters to vote Khan out for the sake of Hindu culture and civilisation.

BJP candidate, Jaya Prada a week back attacked her one-time Samajwadi Party colleague and now a rival candidate Azam Khan, saying he is fighting polls to “legalise his acts”.

“I have an emotional attachment with the people of Rampur. I am here to work for them and make Narendra Modi our prime minister once again while Azam is fighting the election to legalise his acts,” Jaya Prada had told PTI in an interview a week ago.

Jaya Prada was in 2004 a SP Lok Sabha candidate from Rampur on the Samajwadi Party tocket and had defeated the heavyweight, sitting Congress MP Begum Noor Bano by 85,000 votes.

Jaya had once made serious allegations against senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader, claiming that he had “attempted an acid attack” on her.

St0ry of illegitimate relationship between Jaya Prada and Amar Singh has been making the rounds on social media and a much talked about relationship in political gallery.

Jaya however denied any relationship with Singh and said he was like my godfather.

“Only Amar Singh ji, who came out of his dialysis, stood next to me, supported me. What will you think of him? Godfather or someone else? Even if I tie rakhi to him, will people stop talking? I don’t care what people say,” she told in an interview to a TV channel in February this year.

Both Amar Singh and Jaya Prada were once leaders of Samajwadi Party and now in the BJP.
