Senior BJP Leader Subramanian Swamy levelled serious charges against Ministry of Finance led by Arun Jaitley on Saturday. He tweeted,

“My interesting Q&A with an old friend&French official on a visit:
Q: Did you overcharge for Rafael?
A: You agreed to pay
Q: You mean MoF guys agreed?
A: Key MoF officers have good time in Paris.
Q: With whom?
A: MoF ladies in posted elsewhere in Europe
Q: Taped them?
A: CCTV”

His charges include overcharged payment to debauchery and so on. After his tweet, twitterati flock to his handle and started crticising him. Kumud Chandra Panda, a Twitter user asked him which Swamay replied as well.

Kumud tweeted, “Purchase is by Ministry of Defence, but name of Ministry of Finance is cropping up. Confusing. If details of Rafel purchase can not be disclosed in Parliament, a small team of MPs with strong credential from all parties could be explained like Govt. did on surgical strike.”

Swamy answered, “: All deals of over Rs 500 crores have to be cleared by MoF.”

One more user Philomen Gottemukkal tweeted, “Sir, I am proud of you but unhappy with your way of dealing the issues selectively. If you are a true Indian take up all the issues irrespective of party and religion. How can we trust you and your words. You are just playing the politics with the sentiments of the people.”

On this, Swamay tweeted back,” : Be unhappy. I am happy the way I am doing. I don’t want unasked for advice since I bear the consequence of my action.”
