Hyderabad (Telangana): The lone MLA From Telangana State and hardcore right wing Hindu Leader of the party Raja Singh, who has a penchant for creating controversy with his hate filled statement, has done it again.
In a fresh political development, he has announced that he would not take oath administered by his political rival MIM party’s senior most MLA Mumtaz Ahmed Khan on January 17, 2018. Calling Hyderabad based MIM Party, headed by MP Asaduddin Owaisi anti-Hindu party, he made it clear that he would not take oath administered by the MIM party MLA.
Raja Singh released a video announcing his decision. He also warned that he would even fight against the decision of the state Government in a legal manner. It may be noted here that the chief minister of the state K. Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to give the opportunity to act as the pro-tem speaker to the Mumtaz Ahmed Khan considering his seniority in the house. Khan was elected as MLA for the first time from Yakutpura Assembly constituency in the year 1994. He was elected to the house for six consecutive terms since then without facing any defeat so far. However, the decision of the CM did not go down well with MIM Party‘s rival and the BJP MLA Raja Singh. Singh has now announced that he would take oath after the election of the new speaker.
Raja Singh has shot to fame across the country with his provocative statements against Muslims of the country in general and MIM party in particular. He has been vocal on controversial issues like cow vigilantism and mob lynching of Muslims across the country. He also holds Hanuman Yatra in the city every year. Several criminal cases have been filed against the BJP MLA for his inciting and provocative statements.
