Hyderabad: Giving credence to the allegations made by Congress president Rahul Gandhi against ruling TRS party in the state that it was a B-team of the BJP, the state unit of the saffron party has publicly announced that it was ready to extend support to caretaker Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao led TRS party if there was a   hung-assembly in the state after the declaration of the results.
The state unit president of the BJP Dr. K. Laxman has said that they would extend the issue-based support to the TRS government. He, however, put a pre-condition of severing all kinds of ties with their rival AIMIM party. “The TRS should cut off all its ties with the MIM if they want  our support,” he said in an affirmative tone.
The BJP leader has also made it clear that no party could form the government in the state without their support. The exit polls conducted by different national level agencies have predicted that the BJP might win 7 assembly segments, which is an addition of two more seats than what they won in the last assembly elections.
Meanwhile, the rival Congress party did not waste time to respond and said that the statement of Rahul Gandhi had finally turned out to be true. Our leader Rahul Gandhi, during his election campaign in the state, stated  that the ruling TRS party was the B-team of BJP. It has now been proved to be true. The BJP state wing chief Dr. K. Laxman’s announcement is a clear proof of it.
There is nothing surprising in the statement of the BJP leader,” party’s senior leader Abhishek Manu Singvi said while addressing media persons in Hyderabad.
Speaking further Singhvi said that PM Narendra Modi had also not made any adverse and negative comments against CM KCR during his pre-election campaign in the state. It is of utmost importance that the two parties – the TRS and the BJP fought the elections as bitter rivals and carried out their election campaign separately. However, the Congress party leaders and political analysts from the state have said that the TRS had a secret pact with the BJP and cited that the ruling  party  had fielded weak candidates against top BJP leaders from the state to ensure their victory.
“There are so many assembly seats where the TRS party has fielded weak candidates like Amberpet,  Musheerabad and Goshamahal. The main objective behind it is to ensure the victory of the BJP in the elections. Even the BJP leaders and workers have secretly campaigned for the TRS party where it had a direct fight with the Congress party,  political analyst and senior advocate Mohammad Abdul Basith told this correspondent.
