Niramala Sitharaman presented her maiden and complete budget today in the Lok Sabha. An interim budget was presented on 1 February, 2019 by acting Finance Minister Piyush Goel in absence of then Finance Minister Arun Jaitley when he was in America for his treatment of tissue cancer.
Arun Jaitley expressed his inability to continue in the Modi cabinet citing his health reasons.
