Crime ‘Belagaam’ in Uttar Pradesh: 8 Policemen Shot Dead, 7 Critical

This is probably the most heinous crime against the Policemen of this decade without a tag of Maoism and Jihad and that too in Uttar Pradesh where Media keep chanting ‘All is Well’

Eight policemen, including a deputy superintendent of police, were killed during an operation to nab gangster Vikas Dubey late on Thursday in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur district. Seven are critical and four among them are battling for life in ICU according to the reports.

The police team was out to look for him after a villager, Rahul Tiwari, lodged a case of attempt to murder against Vikas Dubey recently. They had conducted raids on the basis of Tiwari’s first information report (FIR) in Bikru village.

“Case under Sec 307 was lodged against history-sheeter Vikas Dubey, Police had gone to arrest him. JCBs were put up there which obstructed our vehicles. When Force got down, criminals opened fire. There was retaliatory firing but criminals were at a height, so our 8 men died,” ANI quoted DGP as saing.

Vikas Dubey is wanted yet free in 60 cases, including murder, robbery and kidnapping.
