I Say with Pride that I would have killed Gandhi, if not Godse: Hindu Court’s Judge

Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated by Godse after independence

“I say with pride that if Godse did not kill Gandhi, then I would have killed him.” said a petty leader of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha who is a Mathematics professor and belongs to Aligarh. She said so in an exclusive interview to Aaj Tak channel.

She is the first judge of a Hindu Court which the organisation Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha had setup short back. It is being said that the set up of Hindu Courts have been inspired by the idea of Sharia Courts run by All India Muslim Personal Law Board.

What Hindu Courts will do and how they will run is not known so far. However, Ashok Sharma, vice-president of ABHM, said that the Hindu courts will deal with cases of land disputes, property and marriage issues. The rules that will govern the functioning of the court will be made public on October 2, the day when Gandhi was born, the same Gandhi said its leader with pride would have killed if Godse did not.

Chandra Prakash Kaushik however said that he is consulting with lawyers and will get the answer on what kind of disputes the Hindu Courts will deal with.

After set up of first court of such kind, the Allahabad High Court has issued a notice to the UP government over the Hindu court and has sought more information on it. The high court has also issued notices to the DM Meerut. The hearing of the case will be held on September 11.

Earlier this week, one more leader of the ABHM, Swami Chakrapani Maharaj had asked people not to help flood-hit Kerala since they eat beef.
