No Floor Test in Karnataka For 2nd Day, House Adjourned Till 22 July

The Karnataka Assembly on Friday, 19 July, was adjourned for the second consecutive day without a floor test.

Despite multiple direction from Governor Vajubhai Vala to finish the procession by Friday, the House was adjourned till 11 am on Monday, 22 July.

Meanwhile, both Congress and Janata Dal (S) approached the Supreme Court, seeking clarification over its 17 July order which affects the right of the parites to issue a whip.

In his application, the CM also said that the governor cannot dictate the House on the manner in which debate of Confidence motion has to take place.
