Hyderabad:  Congress President has been touring the election bound Telnagana state for the third consecutive term in less than ten days time. His campaign has turned out to be a grand success in the state so far. It has also brought cheers on the faces of the Congress party leaders. Not only this, the campaign by the All India Congress Committee (AICC) Chief has also helped the grand alliance partners like TDP, TJS and CPI parties a lot as he campaigned for them as well. The party leaders are saying that Rahul Gandhi is not only their crowd puller but also the vote catcher for them.  “ We are very happy with the campaign of our leader Rahul Gandhi. He addressed three massive public meetings in the state so far. All the three have been grand success in the state. These meetings have once again established our status as the only alternative to TRS to rule the state,” a senior Congress leader Mirza Mohib Bagin told  this correspondent.

If we look at Rahul’s speeches, they find resonance with the people of the state as they are replete with several issues that are very close to their hearts. “The three main problems that eventually led to the creation of the separate Telangana state is Water, Funds and Jobs. Rahul touches upon all these issues and promises to address them all making him the darling of the masses,” another Congress leader and a senior Advocate Boodidha Mallesh told this correspondent.

What is more important Rahul Gandhi’s election campaign in Telangana is the usage of clever ideas and innovation in his campaign for the party candidates. For instance, addressing a massive gathering at a public meeting in the state, Rahul has come up with a phrase “Khao Commission Rao” for the acronym KCR, which is popularly used to refer to Chief Minister of the state Mr. K.Chandrasekhar Rao while leveling the allegations of corruption against the CM.

In his third publc appearance at Gadwal assembly constituency on Monday, ’Rahul has come up with yet another phrase likening the ruling TRS party as the RSS of Telangana state.“ TRS is nothing but the RSS of Telangana state. It is not only the B-team of the BJP but its president and the CM of the state always toe the line of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is clearly evident in his earlier stand over Note Ban, GST enforcement. KCR did not oppose any of these decisions of the PM,” he said amid the huge round of applause from the public.

The Congress leaders from the state are now confident that they would return to power in the state after a gap of five years thanks to the electrifying campaign of their president. Telangana state is going for election on December 7, 2018. The state has a total of 119 assembly segments. The Congress party has teamed up with arch rival of the last 37 years TDP, left party CPI and new entrant TJS and formed a grand alliance to fight the upcoming assembly elections.
