Kuldeep Sengar is a senior Ram Bhakt. (By the way, all Ram Bhakts are senior. I have never come across a junior Ram Bhakt.) He is committed to build a magnificent Ram Temple at Ayodhya. He is equally committed to rape young, hapless girls! I call him the Rambhakta Rapist! Such Ram Bhakts are quite common in today’s India. Surcharged by Hindutva batteries. They can rape, kill and maim anybody in the name of Ram.
Remember the Kathua gangrape? A poor Muslim shepherd girl was gangraped inside a temple. She was brutally murdered also. But since the victim was a Muslim and perpetrators of the crime were Hindus, Ram Bhakts rallied in support of rapists. Two BJP Ministers in the J&K Cabinet spewed venom at a rally as cries of Jai Shri Ram rent the air.
A Hindi daily the Dainik Jagran gave a clean chit to rapists, ruling out rape on its front page. Thankfully, the court held a different view and criminals, including the temple priest, were sentenced for life. The Dainik Jagran is unfazed. After all, the daily is run by Kapoots of the Bharat Mata!
In Bihar also, there was a senior Ram Bhakt, Raj Kishor Kesari. He was the BJP MLA from Purnea and Bihar Dy CM Sushil Modi’s blue-eyed boy. Kesari allegedly sexually exploited a school teacher Rupam Pathak. On the 4th January, 2011, in a cold winter morning, Rupam Pathak came to the Ram Bhakt’s house. She was draped in a shawl and the honourable MLA found nothing unusual. Rupam Pathak came close to him, drew a kitchen knife from her shawl and stabbed the Purnea MLA to death!
Coming back to Kuldeep Sengar, the honourable MLA is very close to the UP CM Yogi Adityanath, whom I call Dhongi Adityanath because he has Gorakhpur riots blood on his hands. Sengar raped a girl in 2017. And no FIR was lodged. Adityanath was too busy changing names. From Allahabad to Prayag Raj. From Mughalsarai Junction to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction.
When you are busy creating history, rapes go unnoticed. When the victim attempted self – immolation in front of the CM house, then cops reluctantly registered an FIR. But soon the victim’s father was killed in police custody. And now a road “accident” has taken place. The victim, like the law and order in UP, is on ventilator! Mercifully, the Supreme Court has stepped in. The apex court has transferred the Unnao rape case and related cases to Delhi. It has set a time-frame of 45 days for trials to complete. There is some light at the end of the dark tunnel.
Personally, I don’t like capital punishment. But Kuldeep Sengar, the Ram Bhakt, has made me think otherwise. I hope that Sengar gets the capital punishment for the rarest of rare crimes he has committed as a law-maker. If Sengar is hanged to death, I will be a happy man. And Ram Naam Satya Hai should be music to Kuldeep Sengar ‘s ears also!
